I've been on a mission since mid this year to find projects to keep my creative mind ticking but sadly, I haven't been able to live upto it yet...My evenings are consumed with so many extra-curricular / post work activities and the weekends disappear somewhere between home chores and attempts at going out and socialising that I've neglected my paint box , drawing pencils and pretty papers!
However,inspiration does still strike and I want to share some of what has made me go - ohh! over the past few days :)
BOLD BOTANICALS
I've been meaning to design a calendar for a couple of years now but somehow never got down to it.
And when I saw these,the idea came rushing back in one inspiring moment!And I also have a colour palette in mind...so maybe 2012 is the year!

COLOUR INSPIRATION
Im not usually a pruple and green kinda girl, but this striking arrangement of colour caught my eye.Firstly because I've been obessed with that mustard yellow for a while now but after I stared at it for a while, I think I love how the dusty hues of lavender and green work with the punchy yellow and chromatic lavender-purples!
Im keen to dig out the gouache and watercolours and mix up these colours and then use them as a palette for my 2012 calendar!
