Making and "Market"ing

So, I found myself rising early on Sunday to take a trip to the Camberwell market...almost din't make it ( yes! the rising early does not appeal to me. EVER) but I'm glad I did. Had a nice time perusing the hap-hazard stalls and came home with some cheeky market treasures.
Sharing things makes it much more fun ( even if its virtual!)
So I share with  you....
Brand new box of crayola "collectors edition" crayons! I know I don't neeeed them, but hey 8 bucks! I wasn't gonna say NO for a full set of 64 colours + 8 limited edition colous all with that lovely crayon smell and cute vintage box!
Can't go past a good book stall!
The first one was a steal for just $8.00! Brand new with the recipt still stuck to the front ($49.95 RETAIL!)The middle one is an old book about life in england with lots of cute watercolour illustrations inside :)
And ofcourse to indulge my baking obbession even more, I picked up this book with lots of old fashioned baking recipes.YUM!
Also picked up a casual jersey dress and a cute red cardi, but thats in the wash and I forgot to take photos!
On a slightly different note :
To avoid boring anyone who reads my blog with another baking related post I thought I'd sneak it into a completely non-baking related post!

Cupcake tower I made for a friends birthday.She liked'em.Everyone ate'em.I was happy :)

  1. Oh I love the Camberwell Market! My boyfriend lives right near it on Prospect Hill, so I sneak down there most Sundays while he is asleep and find the most amazing stuff! We should totally catch up there!
