getting a move on.

After nearly 4 months of working full-time in an industry that doesnt always mean drawing,painting and being creative and after nearly 4 months of vowing everyday to somehow keep the creative streak alive in me, I finally found an avenue :) Let me introduce you to The Sketchbook Project Spotted the link via facebook and I immediately jumped onto the website and instantly my search for a creative project ended :) What better way to be ecouraged (a.k.a FORCED ) to fill up a sketchbook other than joining a whole bunch of creative folks from all over the world in what sounds to be a pretty cool travelling exhibition! I've signed up and I await the day I recieve my fresh blank sketchbook in the mail. I've chosen the theme "untitled" because thats the way I roll ... I thrive on starting off with no restriction whatsoever when it comes to projects like this and choosing a theme like 'untitled' leaves me free to do WHATEVER I like...! Im already dreaming of colours,inky drawings, fabrics...gouache...collage!!oooh! the possibilties seem endless! I also have a cheeky new reason to blog more and share with you my "untitled" journey :) Who knows maybe I'll come up with a name for my book eventually! In the meantime..thanks for reading and wish you all a Happy,Holy and Safe Easter Break!
